1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using BattleLab ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

BattleLab is a fan-made, non-commercial tool for creating and sharing Pokemon battle puzzles. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Nintendo, The Pokémon Company, Game Freak, or Creatures Inc.

3. Fan Work & Intellectual Property

Pokémon and all related names, characters, and imagery are trademarks and copyrights of their respective owners. BattleLab is a fan project built for educational and entertainment purposes. No challenge to their ownership is intended or implied.

4. User Accounts

You may use BattleLab anonymously or sign in via Discord or Google. When using a third-party login, your use is also subject to that provider's terms of service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.

5. User Content

By publishing a scenario on BattleLab, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host and display that content. You retain ownership of any original creative work in your scenarios. Published scenarios may be reviewed, labelled, or hidden by moderators to keep the public library safe and on-topic; hiding a scenario does not delete it or transfer its ownership.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Upload malicious content or spam
• Impersonate another user

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times or free from errors, and battle sessions in progress may be interrupted by maintenance or deployments.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BattleLab and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our discretion, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these terms.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
